At Overhill Dental, we believe that dentistry should be accessible to everyone. Our mission is to help our patients and others in our community understand that regular dental care is just as important as a physical at your doctor’s office.

Dr. Alexaundrea Smith has dedicated her life to caring for patients and bringing awareness of dental health issues to communities throughout the globe through local and global outreach programs.

Get To Know Dr. Alexaundrea Smith

Dr. Alexaundrea Smith is a General Dentist practicing in the great city of Los Angeles, where she was born and raised. It was here where she developed a strong passion for health in her community.

Dr. Smith attended the University of Southern California for her undergraduate education, earning her Bachelor of Science degree in Health Promotion and Disease Prevention Studies. She then obtained her Master of Science in Global Medicine at the Keck School of Medicine at USC. She further obtained her Doctor of Dental Surgery degree at the Herman Ostrow School of Dentistry. There, she enjoyed leading and working weekend community clinics and going on dental mission trips abroad.

Dr. Smith is a member of the American Dental Association, the California Dental Association, the Los Angeles Dental Society, and the National Dental Association. When not changing worlds one smile at a time, Dr. Smith enjoys spending time with family, hiking, and traveling.

What to Expect

Your First Visit

During your first visit to Overhill Dental, you will be greeted with warm smiles! Once we review your medical and dental history, we will sit with you and get to know you personally.

After taking diagnostic X-rays, Dr. Smith will perform a comprehensive examination that includes an oral cancer screening, and determine the type of cleaning you will need. If we notice signs of periodontal disease, we may reschedule the cleaning portion of your visit to allow for more time. Once your exam is complete, Dr. Smith will talk with you about her findings. Together you can create a healthy, effective treatment plan that best meets your dental and personal requirements.

Your first visit is not only about our team getting to know you, but also about you getting to know our team. We encourage our patients to ask questions and express any concerns. Please let us know if there is anything we can do to make your visit exceptional! We want you to feel safe and comfortable!
